Venom: The Last Dance is directed by Kelly Marcel and stars Tom Hardy as reporter Eddie Brock (now on the run after the events of the second film) and Venom (the alien symbiote who uses Venom as a host).
The film was a slight improvement over the second film but overall this entire franchise has been mediocre at best. Tom Hardy is the only memorable thing within these films beyond him its predictable plots, poorly written villains, and lacking all the magic of the Holland Spider-Man films.
Sony made two fantastic Spider-Verse films, but in live-action, it is content with making garbage outside of the Holland films, which the MCU co-produces and makes good. In truth even though Kraven the Hunter seems to look better then the other awful films in this franchise (Morbius, Madame Webb), Sony needs to let the MCU bring these characters to live action or get the Spiderverse writers to do so. Its current approach is not working and the box office outside the Venom films (bolstered by strong overseas showings) is starting to agree.
