Knocks Goes Away is directed and starring Micheal Keaton as an assassin who develops a form of fast-moving dementia. This complicates one of the jobs he’s on and this coupled with his estranged sons (James Marsden) own dilemma sees him formulate a plan to solve both their problems.
The film is well directed by Keaton who solidly balances character drama and action. Any fan of Keaton or action films will enjoy Knocks Goes Away although it does nothing to reinvent the genre.
The film's script ultimately falters in fleshing out an underwhelming story despite the interesting premise and solid performances from the likes of the aforementioned Marsden as well as Al Pacino in a supporting role.
