Speak No Evil is directed by James Watkins and stars James Mcavoy, Mackenzie Davis, Aislin Franciosa, and Scott McNairy. The film follows Davis and McNairy who befriend a fellow couple on vacation in Italy with their kids quickly becoming friends. Things take a turn for the worse when Paddy (McAvoy) and Ciara (Franciosa) invite them to visit their secluded English farm and they soon realize they can not leave.
The film is thrilling filled with fantastic performances from the entire cast in particular Mcavoy who exudes both a charming and terrifying performance as Paddy. A remake of the 2022 Danish film of the same name the 2024 version adds its own spin on the film complete with a different ending and was one of my favorite films produced by Blumhouse.
I highly recommend seeing this film at a drive-in near you, its mix of horror, comedy, and action makes it an exciting time at the cinema.
