The Apprentice Review

by Released : 2024-10-11

The Apprentice tells the story of the rise of one of America's most polarizing figures, former President Donald Trump. His mentor controversial lawyer and political fixer Roy Cohn (Jeremy Strong), takes a young Trump (Sebastian Stan) under his wing. Trump is not like the brash businessman we know of today. His family's company the Trump Organization is on the verge of bankruptcy due to a lawsuit accusing them of prioritizing white tenants and his demanding father, Fred Trump, is hesitant of Trump's plans to expand into Manhattan property development.

The film is very underrated audiences are avoiding it but I felt It accurately portrayed the story without getting political. It was very entertaining, well directed, and had a pair of standout performances from Stan and Strong.

Overall The Apprentice was one of 2024's biggest surprises and one of the year's best films.
