About B&B I-70 Drive-in
The B&B I-70 Drive-in was one of Missouri's largest operating drive-in with 4 screens and a 1200 car capacity. It opened in 1964 and operated until it closed in August of 2018 after the land was sold to a nearby trucking company. Originally just the I-70 Drive-in, it was bought by B&B Theaters and renamed the B&B I-70 Drive-in. Their old neon marquee, mounted atop a scaled down replica of the famous St. Louis arch, was really one of the great drive-in marquees remaining. There were still working drive-in speakers here and the sound is broadcast via FM radio as well. But since this drive-in was purchased by an adjacent business, we assume there is no chance of this drive-in re-opening.
