Currently, there is only 1 operating Drive-in Movie Theater in the Canadian province of Alberta. There are also 7 remaining drive-ins in the adjoining provinces of British Columbia and Saskatchewan. However, there are a couple of groups in Alberta whose aim is to bring back a drive-in to Alberta. Until 2020, there were no drive-ins in Alberta until the opening of the High River Sunset Drive-in which is the only operating drive-in in Alberta.
